Outline NHS funding approval granted for new scheme at Cromer

After a lengthy process, outline approval was granted on a new medical centre scheme in Cromer in December 2015. Funded through revenue, this is a traditional 3PD development and once of the first truely new schemes (i.e. without a pre-existing PCT approval) to be approved since the 2012 Health and Social care act changed the structure of the NHS. The new surgery will provide a much needed new surgery in Cromer, replacing the current building which is severely outdated. Construction is scheduled to start in the summer of 2016.
