Our business has evolved over its 20 years, from providing financial assistance and project management skills to GPs, to encompassing all of the services required to take a project from conception through finance, design, planning and construction all the way to the first day of operation.
Medcentres is unique in this regard, and for our clients we offer the peace of mind of complete risk transfer for all stages of the project together with the simplicity of a single point of contact. We are the only medical centre developer who can work flexibly with clients whether they wish to own or lease their premises as well as working on extension and refurbishment projects to existing buildings.
More recently, we have expanded our services to provide flexible consultancy on property matters including re-development, new-build and strategy. For our clients, this provides additional flexibility as well as the security of fixed, outcome-based costs. Both of these are invaluable in the current public sector funding climate.

Meet The Team
Nick founded Medcentres in the mid 1990s to provide specialist services to GPs and has overseen the group’s expansion since then.
As well as taking overall responsibility for Medcentres’ group activities, Nick also overseas our international projects.
Mike takes responsibility for the UK development team, and works closely with our clients to help them successfully deliver projects.
He has particular expertise in healthcare and securing funding for new schemes.
As as well as being the senior Architect at PSD (our group specialist healthcare architects), Teresa also provides consultancy services for Medcentres.
She is an Architect with a wealth of healthcare experience having worked for and within the NHS for over 30 years including roles at PCTs and NHS Property Services.
Dave Chilcott has a long track record within the construction industry having worked for several main contractors managing multi-million pound consturction projects before joining Medcentres and heading up HCC – our specialist group building contractor.
His skills ensure that projects can be evaluated from a construction perspective from the outset and accurately costed to demonstrate feasibility.
James joined Medcentres in 2014 after completing an MSc in Real Estate and as well as working across the development and construction teams in the UK, manages our development interests in Portugal through our subsidiary: New Paradigm Investments LDA.
Lindsay is a senior qualified lawyer with a wide range of experience in the property industry. She has worked for leading city law firms, Nabarro LLP and Pinsent Masons LLP, and she also has previous in house experience managing both litigation and non-contentious issues.
Lindsay joined Medcentres in 2017 and advises on the day to day legal issues which arise, as well as handling the contractual process to ensure development plans come to fruition.
